Spring Den Chief Training

 

WHAT?  One-day course, including lunch and Den Chief Handbook Book, to train ScoutsBSA to work with Cub Scouts. The Den Chief is a leadership position within the Cub Den or Webelos Patrol. It also counts as leadership for the ScoutsBSA scout ranks. The training highlights the responsibilities of a Den Chief during the meetings (games, songs, scout skills, scout trips, etc.) as well as planning and evaluation.

 

Spring Training Weekend-  April 5

COST  

In-Council              $10 per person if signed up by March 22

                               $25 after March 22

Out of council        $25 before March 22

                              $40 after March 22

TIME?   9-3pm

 

Notes:  There is no age or rank requirement. That is set by the units. It is recommended that the Scout be more than one year older than the Cubs he serves. The selection of a Den Chief needs to be approved by the Den Leader, the Cub Master, and the Scoutmaster. With this training, a Den Chief will be able to earn the award Den Chief Award cord which they can wear until they are 8. Please wear your Class A Uniform and bring paper, a pen and a mug.
