Scouts Start Your Engines!!!

Its Pinewood Derby Time!!!  Please make sure everyone reads over our new Rules and Regulations package which will govern ALL Pinewood derby events.

We are still in the planning process of our District events but do know that they will be held the weekend of June 26-27th at the Citta Scout Reservation Dining Hall.

We are hoping to hold these events as in-person events but also will have full capabilities to run the event Virtually again if necessary due to local and CDC Guidelines.

The top 5 racers from ALL Ranks in each of the Jersey Shore Councils units are invited to attend these District Pinewood Races!

 

Registrations Costs:

Race Participants: 

$75 per pack(5 scout per rank- total of 30 scouts) before 6/1/2021 $90 after  

OR

$5 per scouts(if your pack has less then 13 scouts attending)before 6/1/2021 $8 after

Extra Patches $3

 

THERE WILL BE NO PAYMENTS DAY OF THE EVENT

 

Racer Information:

As you hold your pack races, please follow the Jersey Shore Council PWD Rules below.    These rules will apply at each district race. 

This year we require all racer information to be submitted prior to the day of the races.

Please send all 30 racer/scout information and Pack contact info into Excel and send to Pinewood Derby chair, Lori Rohr, Drlorirohr@gmail.com

Racer Information Sheet is required by 06/15/2021 so it can be checked and loaded into the system.

Every racer will receive a special event patch and trophies will be awarded to the Top 3 racers of each rank.  

The PWD Track will be in the dinning hall and each Rank will race according to schedule listed: the schedule will be sent via email to all registants.
