2025 Southern Shore District Pinewood Derby

Attention Race Fans!!!

Southern Shore Pinewood Derby is Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Atlantic Christian School in egg harbor township NJ. All Southern Shore Packs are invited to race on the District level for patches and trophies and the sheer thrill of the race!

We are excited to announce that this year, the Southern Shore District Pinewood Derby will include a race (with trophies!) for the Scouts BSA rank. Please see attached schedule for planning purposes or head to https://www.jerseyshorescouts.org/southerndistrictpwd for more information.

Please note we will be racing all races per rank according to the schedule below.

Each rank will go through the following schedule during their race times. Times below are for example purposes only and substitute your start times in the below example.

X:00 – X:20 : Racer Registration and Inspections

X:20 – X:30 : Race Officials Buffer

X:30 – Top of Hour – Green Flag Racing

 

Race Participants: 

 

COST $75 per Pack (30 per pack, five per rank)
$5 per individual racer (if not fielding a full pack)

Extra Patches $3

THERE WILL BE NO PAYMENTS DAY OF THE EVENT

THERE IS A 5% FEE ON ALL CREDIT CARD OR E-CHECK TRANSACTIONS

Racer Information:

As you hold your pack races, please follow the Jersey Shore Council PWD Rules below. These rules will apply at each district race. 

This year we require all racer information to be submitted five days prior to the day of the races.

Please send all 30 racer/scout information and Pack contact info into Excel and send to Pinewood Derby chair,
