Six Flags Camporee - Start your Friday the 13th Weekend off right. Registration is open!

We are thrilled to announce that registration is open for the 28th Annual Six Flags Camporee, co-hosted by the Jersey Shore Council of Boy Scouts of America and Six Flags Great Adventure. It will be held on October 13-15, 2023. Yes, that's right, not only will you be camping, enjoying theme park rides and working on Scouting merit badges, all of the action begins on FRIDAY the 13th! What better way to kick off FRIGHTFEST- Six Flag's signature scare - this year!!!

Registration is OPEN! We realize this is a highly anticipated event so please mark your calendar.

As part of the Camporee, your park admission includes early entry with "first to ride" for all of the most popular rides - Medusa, Jersey Devil, Kingda Ka, the Joker and more! Perfect for a frightfully fun camporee with all of your Scouting friends!

This Camporee will be open to ALL UNITS, from Cubs (family camping available) on up - Venturing Crews, Ships, Explorers, Scouts BSA, in council, out-of-council - everyone is welcome!

Note: Prior Six Flags Camporees have sold out quickly so keep that in mind when making your decision.


Camporee ticket – includes camporee, patch and theme park ticket:
Early bird (October 6 or earlier) - $89.00 
Late registration - (October 7-October 11) - $99.00

Season pass holder ticket – includes camporee and patch
Early bird (October 6 or earlier) - $39.00
Late registration - (October 7-October 11) - $49.00

Camping Only ticket - includes camporee and patch:
Early bird (October 6 or earlier) - $39.00
Late registration - (October 7-October 11) - $49.00

Food Options:

CAMPSITE FOOD - Campers can bring their own food (to eat at their site - cannot be brought into the park) or 

MEGA MEAL DEAL – includes one meal, one snack and an all day drink bottle valid at any participating restaurant; can be used at any time during the day - $25.00

SKIP THE COOKING - Skip the cooking and clean up! Let Troop 204/402 do it for you! 

Breakfast available Saturday 10/14 and Sunday 10/15 
Coffee, OJ, water, coffee cake and breakfast sandwiches

Homemade BBQ brisket sandwiches (chicken or beef) mac&cheese, chips, brownies and beverages

Orders accepted after October 6 will be subject to an additional surcharge due to additional cost of product and services.

Merit Badges:

Five merit badges will be available during the day: fishing, fire safety, fingerprinting, nature and engineering. Please check for prerequisites. On Saturday, there will be a fishing derby for adults who wish to skip the theme park. We look forward to welcoming you on Friday, October 13 after 4 pm, to this truly memorable event.

We are doing this differently this year. Please click the link to sign up your individual Scouts for Merit Badge classes. Bear in mind that class size is limited and sign up is first come, first served. PLEASE ONLY SIGN UP FOR CLASSES YOU WILL ATTEND. A Scout is courteous.

Check- Please make checks payable to Jersey Shore Council at 1518 Ridgeway Rd. Toms River, NJ 08755.  Payments should be received at Jersey Shore Council two weeks before the reservation date and will be entered into your account on the website.

Echeck, Credit/Debit Cards- Effective January 1, 2019, all echeck, credit or debit card purchases will be charged a 5% transaction fee.

Cash-  Cash is accepted at our council offices in Galloway (500 East Fairway Lane Galloway, NJ 08205) or Toms River (1518 Ridgeway Rd. Toms River, NJ 08755).  Your payment will be entered into your account on the website.

Refund Policy:

Refunds for all Jersey Shore Council Activities and Events will be provided as follows:

All refunds require a written notice which includes contact information, reason for refund and a copy of the original event receipt.
Requests received at least 15 days before the event will result in the return of 75% of total registration fee to cover administrative costs
Requests received within 15 days of the start of the event will only be considered for medical and other emergencies
The appropriate Vice President for the Council will be responsible to evaluate Emergency Exceptions
