Six Flags Camporee -October 18-20, 2024. Registration Open!

We are thrilled to announce that registration is now open for the 29th Annual Six Flags Camporee, presented by the Jersey Shore Council of Scouting America and Six Flags Great Adventure. It will be held on October 18-20, 2024.

Yes, that's right, not only will you be camping, enjoying theme park rides and working on Scouting merit badges, Cub adventures, but all of the action is also during FRIGHT FEST EXTREAME-Six Flag's signature scare!

We realize this is a highly anticipated event so please mark your calendar.

As part of the Camporee, your park admission includes early entry with "first to ride" for all the most popular rides - Medusa, Jersey Devil, Kingda Ka, the Joker and more! Perfect for a frightfully fun camporee with all of your Scouting friends!

This Camporee will be open to ALL UNITS, from Cubs (family camping available) on up - Venturing Crews, Ships, Explorers, Scouts BSA, in council, out-of-council - everyone is welcome!

Note: Prior Six Flags Camporees have sold out quickly so keep that in mind when making your decision.

New Ticket Policy:

New for 2024 is a second admission ticket. This year you have the option of a second ticket to get in after 5:00 pm to enjoy Fright Fest Extreme. 

Six Flags is running their Fright Fest Extreme Package on Saturday Evening … It’s a spooktacular event, but probably more suitable for our older Scouts (activities include Trails, Scare Zones, etc.) If any of your Scouts are interested in the Fright Fest Extreme, you can purchase the evening ticket for them to get into those areas.

If your scouts would like to enjoy the rides throughout the day and night you only need to purchase Package B.

Package A: $115 Base- $125 Late

Camping/ Day Ticket/ Evening Ticket

Package B: $80 Base- $90 Late

Camping/ Day Ticket Only

Package C: $35 Base- $45 Late

Camping Only (Season Pass Holders and those not looking to enter the park)

*Please note, not all-Season Passes are alike. Some passes are bought at a price level which has blackout dates. Please check to see that your pass is not blacked out for October 19.

Food Options:

CAMPSITE FOOD - Campers can bring their own food (outside food cannot be brought into the park)

MEGA MEAL DEAL – includes one meal, one snack and an all-day drink bottle valid at any participating restaurant; can be used at any time during the day - $25.00

Merit Badges:

Four merit badges will be available during the day: fishing, fire safety, fingerprinting, and nature. Please check for prerequisites, to register please fill out the form below per unit NOT per scout. On Saturday, there will be a fishing derby for adults who wish to skip the theme park. We look forward to welcoming you on Friday, October 18 after 4 pm, to this truly memorable event.

Payment Options:

Check- Please make checks payable to Jersey Shore Council at 1518 Ridgeway Rd. Toms River, NJ 08755. Payments should be received at Jersey Shore Council two weeks before the reservation date and will be entered into your account on the website.

E-check, Credit/Debit Cards- Effective January 1, 2019, all E-check, credit or debit card purchases will be charged a 5% transaction fee.

Cash- Cash is accepted at our council offices in Toms River (1518 Ridgeway Rd. Toms River, NJ 08755). Your payment will be entered into your account on the website.

Refund Policy:

Refunds for all Jersey Shore Council Activities and Events will be provided as follows:

All refunds require a written notice which includes contact information, reason for refund and a copy of the original event receipt.
Requests received at least 15 days before the event will result in the return of 75% of total registration fee to cover administrative costs
Requests received within 15 days of the start of the event will only be considered for medical and other emergencies
The appropriate Vice President for the Council will be responsible to evaluate Emergency Exceptions
