Scouting for Food
Scouting for Food is one of nation's largest food drives that Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Sea Scouts, and Venturing Crews participate in to support their local food pantries and hunger-relief agencies.
The Scouts of the Jersey Shore Council have continuously exceeded expectations and fully stocked dozens of our partner agencies with bags and bags of canned food.
Please sign up for Scouting for Food with the form below and after your collection please make sure to fill out the results and submit your results. The sign up form is important so we make can make sure that units aren't going into the same neighborhoods. The results form is important so we can keep track of and publicize in the local media outlets the awesome service our units are doing for the community. After you have submitted the form you can pick up your Scouting for Food hang tags can be picked up at your local Scout Service Center

On November 4, 2023 and November 5, 2023 Scouts and Leaders will be out in Atlantic, Ocean and Cape May Counties putting out Scouting for Food bags, provided by the Jersey Shore Council, to as many houses as possible. Please keep track of the area your unit distributes the Scouting for Food door knob hang tags.
On November 10, 2023 and November 11, 2023 the Scouts and Leaders will again be out to collect the generous donation of food by the good people of our communities and delivered to your designated foodbank or distribution center.
We do have a limited amount of bags, please do not request more then you plan to put out.
