Scouts Start Your Engines!!!

Its Pinewood Derby Time!!!  Please make sure everyone reads over our new Rules and Regulations package which will govern ALL Pinewood derby events.

We are still in the planning process of our District events but do know that they will be held the weekend of June 26-27th at the Citta Scout Reservation Dining Hall.

We are hoping to hold these events as in-person events but also will have full capabilities to run the event Virtually again if necessary due to local and CDC Guidelines.

The top 5 racers from ALL Ranks in each of the Jersey Shore Councils units are invited to attend these District Pinewood Races!

 

Southern Shore District

The Southern Shore District includes all Cub Scout Packs South of Waretown in Ocean County and all units in Atlantic County.  Saturday June 26th at Citta Scout Reservation. (All Times TBD)

Southern Shore Pinewood Derby

Nothern Lights District

The Northern Lights District includes all Cub Scout Packs North of Waretown (not including Waretown) in Ocean County.  Sunday June 27th at Citta Scout Reservation. (All times TBD)

2021 Pinewood Derby Rules

 


Registrations Costs:

Race Participants: 

$75 per pack (5 scout per rank- total of 30 scouts) before 6/1/2021- $90 after  

OR

$5 per scout (if your pack has less than 13 scouts attending) before 6/1/2021 - $8 after

Extra Patches $3

THERE WILL BE NO PAYMENTS ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT

 

More info regarding race times and race schedule to follow at a later date closer to the event weekend!!!

 

 

REMINDER: Do not deviate from official rules and regulations at Pack and/or District events. Cars that are allowed to deviate are not guaranteed to pass at District events. That means, only cars which meet these rules and regulations shall be allowed to race.
