Northern Lights District Pinewood Derby Race

DATE: April 11th, 2026

The District Pinewood Derby Races will be held at Citta Scout Reservaiton. Please note we will be racing all races per rank according to the schedule below.

Lions	9am-10am
Tigers	10am-11am
Wolves	11am-12pm
Lunch	12pm-12:30pm
Bear	12:30pm-1:30pm
Webelos	1:30pm-2:30pm
AOL	2:30pm-3:30pm

 

Each rank will go through the following schedule during their race times. Times below are for example purposes only and substitute your start times in the below example.

 

X:00 – X:20 : Racer Registration and Inspections

X:20 – X:30 : Race Officials Buffer

X:30 – Top of Hour – Green Flag Racing

 

Race Officials are looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend for some great racing action! See you at the starting line!

 

Race Participants: 

$75 per pack(5 scout per rank- total of 30 scouts) 

$80 per pack after March 15th, 2026

OR

$5 per scouts(if your pack has less than 13 scouts attending)

$10 per scout after March 15th, 2026

 

THERE WILL BE NO PAYMENTS DAY OF THE EVENT

 

Racer Information:

As you hold your pack races, please follow the Jersey Shore Council PWD Rules below.    These rules will apply at each district race. 

This year we require all racer information to be submitted prior to the day of the races.

Please send all 30 racer/scout information and Pack contact info into Excel and send to Pinewood Derby chair, Mark Bober boberpsu@verizon.net
