Den Chief Training

Den Chief Training is a one-day course to teach your Boy Scouts how to effectively help run a den of Cub Scouts.   The Den Chief is a leadership position within the Cub Den or Webelos Patrol. It also counts as leadership for the Boy Scout for his Scout ranks. The training highlights the responsibilities of a Den Chief during the meeting (games, songs, scout skills, scout trips, etc.) as well as planning and evaluation.

Cost $15(if signed up by October 27,2017).  $20 late registration.

Notes: There is no age or rank requirement. That is often set by the units. It is recommended that the Scout be more than one year older then the Cubs he serves. The selection of a Den Chief needs to be approved by the Den Leader, the Cub master and the Scoutmaster. With this training, a Den Chief will be able to earn the award Den Chief cord which he can wear until he is 18. Please wear your Class A Uniform and bring paper, a pen and a mug.
