Southern Shore guys and dolls, prepare to hustle your gams on over to our annual District Dinner on Nov. 12, 2026 from 6-9pm at the Smithville Inn, where we’ll be celebrating the Roaring '20s!
Don’t be a flat tire, all adults are welcome to come celebrate Southern Shore and our adult volunteers, who are absotively the bee’s knees.
This year, due to the Council merger, we’ll be awarding all of our Southern Shore volunteers their District-level AND Council-level awards at the District Dinner, so if you want to kick up your heels with your Scouter friends, this is the night put on the ritz! No Scouting uniforms at this event, but hopefully attendees will paint the town and the inn with sequins, fedoras, fringe and suspenders galore. There will be a buffet of chow and quite possibly a speakeasy (shhhhh!) for some giggle water if you bring some dough and play your cards right.
Just as important as picking out your glad rags for the night, is nominating Scouters for Unit, District and Council awards. Nominations are due by SEPTEMBER 30th and can be submitted here.
Deadline to register is for the District Dinner is Tuesday November 3rd at midnight!
