SCIENCE of TRAINING

Do you feel that you have something special to give to our new leaders? Do you want to share that something special with others? Do you really believe that Scouting only requires one-hour a week?

If you have answered “yes,” with a smile, to any of these questions, then the Jersey Shore Council Training committee wants you! Join us for a fun day of training that will teach you to help train other leaders through the Scouting America leader development guidelines. 

Our Council training committee is inviting currently trained leaders to assist in our face-to-face training classes. The Science of Training will teach you how to develop the teaching skills necessary to train Scouting America adult leaders. Scouting America offers a wide variety of guidelines for all training. As a member of a training team, you will be able to offer your special pizzazz to training offerings that will reach adult leaders, make training fun, and still follow the Scouting America guidelines set before us.

TIME:         8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
COST:         $10.00
