250th Anniversary Camporee

What is this about? 

A camporee is a gathering of Scout BSA troops and Venturers for the weekend that comprises stations of learning and hands- on activities related to the Camporee's theme: the 250th anniversary of the USA. Groups of scouts will travel to stations over the course of Saturday to learn something and engage in an activity based on what was learned. With the theme being the 250th anniversary of the USA, each station will contribute something related to US history and innovation. Station will offer opportunities for inter-Troop competition. All units are requested to prepare and execute an original skit or song based on US history for saturday night's campfire.

When: May 29- 31, 2026

Where: Joseph A. Citta Scout Reservatio, Brookville, NJ

Details: There will be ten stations of learning and hands-on activities dedicated to the history and innovation of the United States that will be hosted by Ocean County College professors, the Civil Air Patrol, Civil War reenactors, and Historians.
